Science journalist

Paolo is a scientific journalist, who has been working mainly on medicine and biology topics for more than twenty years. He wrote for the Science pages of Corriere della Sera for a long time, before becoming scientific editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine Ok Salute and related website (published by RCS-Rizzoli Periodici). He also created Sportello Cancro, the oncology section of corriere.it (the Corriere della Sera website), in collaboration with the Umberto Veronesi Foundation. Paolo was one of the authors of Macchina del Tempo, the Retequattro (Mediaset) programme on nature, environment and history presented in prime time by Alessandro Cecchi Paone, and he worked as a consultant for several other Mediaset productions. He has also been scientific consultant for DeA Sapere (a De Agostini channel, broadcast on Sky), editor-in-chief of SaluteBenessere Channel (a Sole 24 Ore satellite channel), and author of SeiMilano, Benetton's experimental TV channel. His journalistic experience has encompassed newspapers (Italia Oggi) and the web: in particular, he managed the editorial staff of Cultura e Salute for nuovo.it, one of the first electronic newspapers in Italy (created by e.Biscom group). He wrote the La salute prima di tutto column for Gazzetta dello Sport, and has worked together with numerous periodicals (Panorama, Epoca, Il Mondo, and others).
