Science journalist

Elisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences specialising in biomolecular science from the University of Milan-Bicocca, as well as a Master’s degree in "Communication methods and techniques in healthcare" from the University of Milan. She started her career as a freelance science journalist working for several Italian newspapers (Corriere della Sera, Quotidiano Nazionale-Il Giorno), web TV and scientific information websites (such as Scienza in Rete of the 2003 Group and Partecipasalute of the Mario Negri Institute). She currently works with the ANSA news agency for scientific news. In 2019 she published the book "Leonardo scienziato. Macchine, invenzioni e curiosità di un genio normale" (Leonardo the scientist. Machines, inventions and oddities of an average genius) (Hoepli). In 2021 she created the podcast ‘Tutta un’altra storia’ (A totally different story), which talks about how science is solving the mysteries of the past through the voice of researchers.
