Science journalist

Agnese graduated in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology from the University of Genoa and devoted herself to research for seven years, obtaining a PhD in pharmacology at the University of Milan. She then attended a master's in scientific communication at the same university, and subsequently switched entirely to journalism at the scientific news agency Zadig, where she became a professional journalist. She now works with the main Italian publishing groups (RCS, Espresso-Repubblica, Il Sole 24 ore, Focus-Mondadori and others) on issues related to health, nutrition, environmental sustainability, and science in general. She published Il corpo anticancro (Piemme), on immunoncology, with Michele Maio in January 2017, and LSD - storia di una sostanza stupefacente (Utet) in April 2018.
